1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Chromozom you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. The Service

Chromozom offers online tools, currently an image converter and an SVG converter. You can use it without an account, within lower limits; an account gives higher limits. We may change, limit or stop any part of the service at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Chromozom lawfully and not to:

upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that is illegal;
try to get around file-size, rate or daily limits, or overload or attack the service;
use the service as a place to store or share files; converted files are removed automatically;
use automated tools to send large volumes of requests without our permission.

4. Your Files

You keep all rights to the images you upload. You give us permission to process them only to provide the conversion you asked for. Files are deleted one hour after upload, or 24 hours if you are signed in, so keep your own copy of anything you need. We do not guarantee that a conversion will preserve every property of the original, such as metadata, colour profile or animation.

5. Accounts and Credits

You are responsible for your account and everything done under it. Where a tool uses credits, the cost is shown before you use it. Credits have no cash value unless the law says otherwise.

6. Advertising

The service is supported by advertising. Ads are provided by third parties; we are not responsible for their content or for the sites they link to.

7. Intellectual Property

The Chromozom software, logos and design belong to Chromozom or its licensors. You may not copy or build on them without our written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Chromozom is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost or altered files, interrupted access, or errors in a conversion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept them.
